Hospital Bag Checklist

For Mum

  • Pyjamas / Nightdress
  • Dressing Gown
  • Slippers
  • Underwear (including nursing bra)
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, body-wash, shampoo, etc.)
  • Maternity pads / disposable briefs
  • Bath towel
  • Disposable breast pads

For Baby

  • Cotton wool balls
  • 3 x vests
  • 3 x sleepsuits
  • 1 x hat
  • 1 x blanket
  • Nappies
  • Baby wipes

For Dad

  • Money for car park (make sure you have an ample supply of pound coins, as you could be parking for quite a while!).
  • Telephone numbers of all those you want to share the good news with
  • Lightweight clothing – the delivery suite is incredibly warm.
  • A camera
  • Thick skin and a sense of humour!
